Privacy Policy

Information pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). Last updated: 3 October 2026.

1. Data controller

The data controller is Francesco Montefusco [company / trading name, if different], with registered office at [full address], VAT no. [number]. For any request concerning your personal data, please write to wedding@francescomontefusco.it.

2. What data we collect

We only collect the data you provide voluntarily or that is necessary for the website to work:

• Contact form: your names, email, phone/WhatsApp, wedding date and location, approximate number of guests, requested service, message and how you found us.
• Email and WhatsApp: the data contained in the messages you send us directly.
• Browsing data: IP address and technical data automatically recorded by the server for security and to keep the website running.

Please do not include special categories of data (for example about health or religious beliefs) in your message unless strictly necessary.

3. Purposes and legal basis

• Replying to your requests and sending you availability and quotes: pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Providing the photography and/or video service agreed: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Complying with legal obligations, such as tax and accounting obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
• Keeping the website secure: legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Your data is not used for newsletters or advertising without your specific consent and is never sold to third parties.

4. Providing your data

The fields marked as required in the form are necessary to reply to your request; without them we will not be able to contact you. All other fields are optional.

5. How long we keep your data

Data is processed electronically with appropriate security measures. Requests that do not lead to a booking are kept for as long as needed to handle them and in any case no longer than 24 months. Data relating to contracts and invoices is kept for 10 years, as required by tax law.

6. Who may receive your data

Your data may be processed, only for the purposes described above, by:

• Hostinger, provider of hosting, email and website services, acting as data processor;
• accountant and advisers, for tax and administrative obligations;
• collaborators involved in the service (for example a second photographer or videographer), limited to the data they need.

7. Third-party services

• WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.): clicking the WhatsApp button opens the WhatsApp app or website; conversation data is also processed by Meta under its own privacy policy.
• Instagram (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.): the website only contains a link to the profile; no Instagram content is loaded on the pages.
• Google Fonts (Google Ireland Ltd.): the website fonts are loaded from Google servers, which receive the visitor’s IP address.

Some of these providers may transfer data outside the European Economic Area; in that case the transfer is based on an adequacy decision (EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

8. Cookies

This website only uses technical cookies and tools needed for it to work and to keep it secure, which do not require consent. We do not use profiling cookies or third-party analytics tools. If they are introduced in the future, this notice will be updated and your consent will be requested through a cookie banner.

9. Your rights

At any time you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its processing and receive it in a portable format (Articles 15–22 GDPR) by writing to wedding@francescomontefusco.it.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).

This notice may be updated. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the date of the last update.
